Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you might want to know about working with Soul Bloom Wellness.
What kind of challenges do you work with?
Soul Bloom Wellness offers holistic, trauma-informed counselling and wellbeing support for individuals navigating burnout, chronic stress, anxiety, disconnection, or a feeling of being out of balance with their health.
Sessions are grounded in counselling modalities, alongside guidance to support emotional wellbeing, stress management, lifestyle and habit change, and personal growth. There is also a focus on nervous system awareness and building a more sustainable way of living.
What are common types of clients?
Clients often consider themselves high-functioning, yet are struggling to maintain balance between work, life responsibilities, and their wellbeing.
Many are navigating burnout, people-pleasing patterns, or high self-expectations, and are wanting to feel more capable and in control of their lives.
Examples of professionals I have worked with include company directors, doctors, social workers, creatives, business owners and new mothers.
How is your approach different from traditional therapy or coaching?
At Soul Bloom Wellness, I integrate counselling, coaching tools, and guidance based on your own inner knowing.
It’s about understanding what’s going on beneath the surface, reconnecting you with yourself, and supporting you to make changes that feel aligned and sustainable.

Is this right for me if I’m feeling overwhelmed or burnt out, but not sure why?
Yes, this is something many clients experience.
Often there is a sense of feeling stuck, foggy, or disconnected, with an awareness that something needs to change but no clear starting point.Together, we explore what may be contributing to this, including stress patterns, boundaries, nervous system responses, and lifestyle factors, so you can begin to gain clarity and direction.
What does a typical session look like?
Sessions are personalised and may include reflective conversation, emotional regulation strategies, nervous system education, and wellbeing coaching.
At times we may work with a loose plan and at other times we will go with what feels most supportive for you in that moment. Initial sessions are 1.5 hours to allow space for a deep understanding of where you are at and identify where support is needed. Following sessions are 50 minutes.
How often do you recommend sessions?
This depends on your goals and capacity.
Some clients start weekly or fortnightly and then move into monthly support as things begin to shift. If you’re wanting a high level of accountability or support I offer more structured and tailored programs.
Consistency can be helpful, though you are always welcome to move at a pace that feels right for you.
Can I work with you alongside other therapy or health services?
Absolutely. This work often complements other therapeutic or medical support, including psychologists, GPs, or allied health practitioners.
We will stay within a clear scope, and where helpful, I can suggest referrals or collaborative options to support your overall wellbeing.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes, sessions are primarily offered online, making it accessible whether you are based on the Mornington Peninsula, in Melbourne, or elsewhere in Australia.
There may be the option for occasional in-person sessions for those who are local, particularly for initial appointments.
Are your services covered by Medicare or private health insurance?
At this stage, Soul Bloom Wellness is a private service and sessions are not covered by Medicare or private health insurance.
Fees are structured with this in mind, and I offer some flexibility where possible, including packages or concession rates.
What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
I ask for 24 hours’ notice for any reschedule or cancellation. This honours both your time and mine, and supports the integrity of our work together.
What can I expect from working together?
Results vary depending on the clients goals, some may notice stress levels reduce, contentment increases, general health and wellbeing improves, and they find themselves having a greater capacity to navigate life’s challenges.
This may include:
feeling more in control of stress and emotions
setting clearer boundaries
improving work-life balance
reconnecting with what feels important
The focus is on creating changes that feel sustainable, rather than short-term fixes.
